Lack Of Common Sense type stuff

Is this hydrocephalus or Chiari 1 related?  I had an ETV a couple years ago and was very recently shunted ... I have talked to my Neurosurgeon about the lack of common sense and he really doesn't say this should improve or why it happens or anything helpful when i bring it up
examples of lack of common sense ...
I put oven mitt on one hand to take pizza out of oven and grabbed pizza pan with hand that is not wearing the oven mitt...Big Ouch
I try to put 4L milk jug in cupboard... its banging on top and bottom shelf and i stand there continuing to try to put it in not understanding for a few minutes why it won't fit.. eventually i realize its too big quickly followed by the realization that milk goes in the fridge
I made tea... poured the hot water into the cup followed by putting kettle into fridge... after closing fridge something didn't seem right so I open fridge and realize it doesn't go in fridge......
there are many many stories like this i could tell..
eventually i always realize how things should actually be but feel stupid afterward.
I would love to make this go away it's very irritating....

I haven't come across the thread yet, but it's nice to know that other people go through this in a way.. only to know, i guess at least i'm not alone with this ...
NS did the shunt because symptoms were slowly getting worst. He doesn't know if it will help, so far it seems to just have added to my pain and added more symptoms. I am so very unimpressed with this whole thing.. makes a once happy, bouncy, always working person just want to Scream, and yet who would i scream at and what would it help or change......Life is Great, just having to many crappy days, at least i can be thankful i'm still here to try n find a solution.

We have a thread somewhere here like this...we all do it, yet we all do not have hydrocephalus...so it leads me to wonder if it is just the compression and pressure on the brain stem itself that is causing the issue.

That could be y the Drs do not want to pigeon hole the symptoms to one condition, plus they do not have a clue I am sure what all we deal with...too many do not recognize half the symptoms we deal with on a daily basis...they have a short list of symptoms for chiari while we have a manefesto.....
