I am truly blessed to have my family here at home and my family here on Medhelp......u all give me a purpose in life.....
my favorite line from the Prayer of St. Francis ~ it is in giving, that we receive.
And I get soooo much from this forum....I have learned about my own chiari and share what I have learned......
I pray we all continue to keep the sharing going and help get awareness for this condition out to the masses.
Love u all
I am thankful for my mom! My mom helps me every day and she especially helps me when I am in pain, and I love her to bits. My dad is also totally awesome too and I am so thankful for him as well. My mom and dad are absolutely the best people in my life. and I am thankful for all of my family really (like my younger brother who is one of my best friends! and all of my grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins too).
I am thankful for the community here on Medhelp. The sense of community here in the Chiari Community is amazing and I have learned so much about having Chiari since joining. I also recently became the CL for the Migraines & Headaches Community, so I am thankful for that as well. In addition to being a CL for the Migraines & Headaches Community, I am also a member and co-moderator of one of the groups here on Medhelp called the Migraineurs Support Group. I co-moderate the group with two absolutely amazing women: rudyhorse (aka Tracy) and dame_wilbur (aka Dame); they have really helped make the group what it is and I am so thankful for being able to work with them. I am also thankful for all the members of the Migraineurs Support Group, I learn so much from them every day and I have found so much support. I am thankful for all of the connections I have made here on Medhelp. :)
I am thankful for finding such a great network of friends on here. Without you guys to converse with and compare thoughts with, I think I would be lost. It's always great knowing that I am not alone in this fight against Chiari. So thank you for always offering up advice and concern. It truly is a blessing.

As a recovering Alcoholic I have so much to be thankful for.....
To get sober I surrounded myself with good positive friends who had experience of getting sober and it made my journey so much easier.....
I have used this principle when dealing with my Chiari.....good positive friends with experience who are further on in their journey and who share there experience with me....
