Chiari

I also get bumps on my hands.  They don't itch or hurt.  Pcp has not been able to figure it out or give me anything to make it go away.  I am going to the dermatologist Wednesday but was curious if anyoneknewif this could be due to chiari.

What test did he do to confirm this?
In many cases, your doctor can diagnose granuloma annulare by examining the affected skin. To confirm a case of granuloma annulare or rule out other conditions, your doctor may recommend these tests:

KOH test. In this test, your doctor scrapes your skin with a glass slide to collect dead skin cells. The skin cells are mixed with potassium hydroxide (KOH) and viewed under a microscope to help determine if you have a fungal infection.

Skin biopsy. In this test, a small sample of the affected skin is removed. The skin sample is examined under a microscope to confirm a diagnosis of granuloma annulare

The dermatologist said the bumps are unrelated granuloma annulare so no big deal on those:)

No worries...here is a list I found, I thought u may want to print it out (notice the 7th one down)-

Symptoms vary depending on which type of EDS a person has. The most common forms of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS Type I and II) are characterized by one or more of the following features:

skin problems
soft velvet-like skin
fragile skin that bruises or tears easily
stretchy rubber band-like skin
easy or severe bruising
poor and slow wound healing (usually taking weeks to months to heal)
small harmless bumps under the skin
joint problems
loose unstable joints causing frequent dislocations usually occurring in the shoulders, knees, hips, collar bone or jaw (see figure 1)
double jointedness (hyper extensible joints), extreme in some cases
joint pain from frequent dislocation
eye problems
nearsightedness, occasionally extreme

Selma that is actually on my ask Dr Oro list since I have connective tissue pain, hypermobility, blue sclerna, and had horrible varicous veins.  (this is on my list because of a tip from you)  They are weird bumps that are worse sometimes then others.  They seam to "flare up".
