Weird Feelings

Was wondering if anyone else has had any of the following symptoms/feelings while having a bad migraine
-pins/needles in their head...not the whole head just parts of it and not the same spot all the time....it almost feels like chills in my head.

-pins/needles sensation in the spine....again chill like but not chills

-the bottom part of your arm (from the shoulder down to the pinky and ring finger) going numb....but the other fingers and top part of your arm feels fine...

-pins/needles in the face

I'm so lost....I never used to be sick or a complainer like some say....I feel like I'm just falling apart more and more instead of getting better.

My neurologist won't touch or treat me until TCI looks at my images. And that isn't even happening today, which means it can take a few more weeks. uuugghhh!

I don't have chiari (my son does) but I often have problems with either 1) pinky and ringfingers going numb or 2) middle, pointer and thumb, going numb. Usually happens when I wake up in the morning, can't do anything until I get them moving again. I remember looking at diagram where it showed that one set of nerves ran to those fingers specifically in that pattern. I figured I pinched nerve when I slept or something.

HI Sheila,

I think what u r calling pins and needles I called a rush .....bcuz it felt like it moved over my head......weird....like u get chills...but not....lol.....

I had constant numbness in my left arm in to my pinky finger...after surgery I have had it come and go....not often....but it has popped in for a brief visit.


The symptoms can increase and then subside...so try to take it easy and do not push as much when u r in a flare like this.

Try and relax....and complain, vent whatever here....we don't mind.
