What do I need to purchase or pack for a decompression surgery for a 10 year old?

Hi - I had decompression 9/2011 and tethered cord release 4/2012. My 10 year old daughter is having decompression July 26 and tethered cord release November 1. I am looking for a list of things that would make life easier for her in the hospital and at home during recovery. Button up pajamas, etc. I remember what I needed, but looking for something from a pediatric standpoint - from a parent's point of view. Thank you!

Hi and welcome back...I pray you are doing well.

V neck shirts or PJ tops.....or button down....
I liked to listen to music and audio books afterward....TV bothered me too much right after.....coloring books may be helpful and a pillow that is comfy....I took my own along.

Snacks in case she doesn't like the food.
Something to snuggle.

If you would like post her surgery date on the thread for Prayers.....
