started zoloft... now stopping it and scared....

Ok i started 50mg zoloft on Tuesday and the same night i noticed my vision got worse ( bad with chiari  anyway) but zoloft x it by 2....

So i went to gp and he said it was ok to stop.... And to go get eye test also so make sure eyes just aren't worse....


But this is in space of 3 days... And i find it funny how it coincides with zoloft and my period

So today i haven't taken it and i feel like crap .... I feel like breathing is different. Vision... I feel like arms are weak upon waking ( woke up an hour after sleeping as always) and i am really starting to worry its not zoloft ... And my chiari has gone insane.... Im scared.. I wish i never started the stupid pill....

Yea that is one of the reasons i stopped.. I won't know if chiari or side effect.. Cant win lol

  Hi....I never got much more sleep then what u r getting so I know how u feel, and that will add to everything.

Sometimes the position we sleep in can also affect how we feel when we wake..the numbness , tingling etc.....

The med may have nothing to do with how u feel, and it is hard to know if it is the Chiari or a side effect of the med.....this is one reason y I refused to take meds b4 I had surgery...I knew from other surgeries that those pain meds did ot touch my chiari pain, so I could not see taking something that could cause side effects or cover new symptoms and I would not be aware of them...I felt feeling it would be the best way to know what all was going on and that it could not be blamed on meds....

I had ear pain too, at times it felt like an ice pick being jabbed into my ear....ouch !!....

Hang in there it does get better : )

Had head pain all week also. And keep getting ear pain also at some points.. And my head just feels full ....

Lack of sleep is a factor... 2-4 hours a night for a week now :(
