  U did remember?  aww that must have been funny for ur DH not being clued in and easier for ur kids to hear : )

I did find after 2 weeks I did not use the walker in the house as it was too large for some areas and was more of a hazard...

I am so impressed with how well u r doing....fabulous : )

Selma~I have a cane that I am walking with. They gave me a cane instead of a walker because they said I was walking to good to use the walker, and honestly I am much more comfortable with the cane :)

I do walk....but not a whole lot right now...I am still only 3 days post op. So, walking can be tricky. But I do get up enough.

Melody~ haha...I don;y even remember posting in ICU....HAHA.

Haha Sheila I was postin from ICU with my iPad...it was my BFF for 2 months.  I hope the new meds help

  Didn't they suggest u  use a walker? I was shown how to use one in the hospital, but already had one at home from a previous leg surgery...so did not bring one home, but a walker was suggested for the first few weeks and they wanted me up and walking.....not a lot, but u do need to move about in the next week or 2....

I am not doing anything at all. I CAN'T do anything else so My laptop is next to my recliner and I am laying in my recliner with my puple travel pillow my hubby bought me, Listenening to my music lightly in my ears....and from time to time I check to see what is gging on ...becuase I cant rest...they didnt giveme anything at all to rest just sent home with Lortab and told to come back in two weels. Not by my Dr either by the  attending weekend physician. my DH is literally sitting in the ER waiting for the NS to come out of surfery so he can get my prescriptions. Thanks for your concern....but I do not walk uinless I have to go to the restroom, and I have my oldest son, San, and my DH all to myself to tend to  me...so I am def. not overdoing anything,,,lol

  I have no idea how u r posting, I stayed away from the forum for a few weeks...I am amazed by u and others that post so soon post op...and caution u to please rest up and take it easy <3

You are all soooo sweet. I love that you are all so sweet and supportive. I am just getting to read all of your amazing wishes and prayers . . I truely could have never have gotten throught this without u all <2

Oh sweetheart!!!!! yeeeeees...u made it.the pain will subside, the first 2 weeks are the most rough. hang in there...oh what a relief to hear from you, i guess ur family is just happy knowing super mom woke up.

Hi everyone . Surgery went well and i am in a lot of pain!!!

I just checked facebook and Sheila's husband updated us about an hour ago, "To all concerned, Sheila's surgery went well...she is now in post op recovery icu ...and will be for two days before being moved to a regular room...". Just wanted to give you all an update, I've been waiting all day myself for an update and figured I would let you all know she's doing well. :)

You all have put tears in my eyes! Just found out I for in for 5 am and surgery will probably be around 7 or so. I have asked Krystal to update u all as she gets texts from my DH. Trying to down at least three more bottles of watermy midnight. I love u and there's no way I could get through all of this without u guys! Hugs to u all!!

I wish you the best hun and hope all goes well tomorrow. I've already got purple shirts laid out for me and my girls to wear for you tomorrow. Figured it would be smart to lay them out so I don't forget tomorrow. It seems like I forget things while sleeping, it's like my brain purges info lol. You're in our thoughts and prayers! Hugs!
