Hello Dana, I wish you well too! I don't know anything about this but feel for you. I cannot imagine. I will say a prayer for you! Best of Luck!

Hey friend am sorry you are going through so much I wish they could find relief for you. Just know I am praying for you!
I was unfamiliar with this treatment--sorry it was so unpleasant. But, it sounds very hopeful; 70% of patients have less pain, I read.
I hope you feel better soon!
Yikes, that sounds scary....I have heard this can happen and those with EDS are more diff to numb and put out and wake up...I was told in recovery after my PFD that they had a hard time waking me...I also had to have 4 to 5 Novocaine shots at the Dentist one time not knowing ne of this as I was not getting numb...knowing that EDS can cause some of these issues...I kind of brace for it and pray that does not happen...
As for it taking 3 weeks to help...I have heard of other meds that can take a while to get into the blood stream and b4 u notice benefits...
I am so sorry u had to experience that...((hugs))
So I had a diff anesthesiaologist and I woke up mid procedure. I couldn't move but could talk a little. I felt 5 shots and the painfull burning of my nerves. And apparently it takes up to 3 weeks to work. Does that make any sense to you? I love my PM dr but this was the most awful experience aand I'm still in pain. Even more now from procedure. I'm just sick of it all. Hope u r well.....Dana
Dana...sorry I know while going thru this process of trying diff things, is beyond difficult, but a fusion is permanent...and u loose ROM....there r so many that get upset as they claim to not have known what was involved y didn't the Dr do more to see if nething else could be done...so bcuz of them, u have to go thru this...plus as I know I have told others, this info from trying these also gives the Dr info on how ur body reacts and responds...so it is helpful....take deep breaths and remember to exhale ((hugs))
