trauma in muscles???

Ok u made an interesting finding today.when moving my neck or pressing the muscles there this is what gives me this earthquake wavy feeling.thats why it gets so much worse after walking.so my question can this part have a trauma of being cut down?how long will it last for muscles to totally recover after surgery?i will ask my doctor for rehab of my neck to build up muscles...i think the cutted vertebras dont give enough stability...someone can follow that??? Lol

Yeah, if u have something in there like a bulging disk...I do, and mine is causing CSF obstruction just like the tonsils did.....scar tissue can also do that.....

No...u should not feel like that.....

But, u should be doing exercises to avoid scar tissue and the muscles from getting tight.

U should talk to ur Dr.

I have extreme muscle tightness in my neck. I noticed that walking ( limited time) helps. My NS referred me to a physical therapists next week so I hope this will help. He set it up so I would get PT 2-3x week for 6 weeks. I got my stitches out yesterday and it's numb feeling but it seems to be healing well. I called my PT office today and had them call my doctor so that they will be on the same page with therapy. I didn't want my PT to do more harm than good! I have talked with two people already who said it took them 3-4 months for their neck muscles back to normal. I hope this helps!

There is a possiblity particularly if you have EDS that the alterations made to the vertibrate can cause cranial instability.  The cure for that is a fusion.  Hopefully it is just that you need more time healing.  I don't know how long but from what I read it can take a long time.  My NS said he really had to stretch all of my muscles out of the way to get in there and it would take time.  (guess I am blessed with a muscular neck LOL of all things)  He did not say how long.  I hope that it is just you need healing and not that you have cranial instability.
