hello everyone,i can't believe i found a "facebook" for chiari! i was diagnosed with a tonsillar ectopia 13 years ago when i had a t.i.a ,the doc said it would get worse eventually,i have had 9 tia's all together now,and was diagnosed with a chiari,i had a mini stroke feb.2009 and have had a headache everyday since, sometimes unbearable, there isn't any good neurologists around here, everone i've seen say it isn't bad enough for surgery,it is about a 5 " ,they say it has to be a 8" before they will operate,so i have to live with the pain and other symptoms.the weather is the worst,
everytime the air pressure changes i feel it in my head,i can tell when it's gonna rain or sotrm by the pressure in my head,my friends all think i'm crazy, but i noticed since it's getting colder my legs are hurting worse,i had to crawl upstairs the other day my left leg hurt so bad,and this is the first time it has bothered my left side,it has always been on my right side. so you tell me ,am i losing my mind or is this normal for a chiari patient?
