2 year old pulls own hair and eats it while sucking thumb?

My 2 yr old has a terrible habit and I am very worried about her. I am so needing an explanation and hopefully a way to correct her and get her to stop doing it.
She is two years old and she will pull her hair out on the back of her head then get it wrapped on her thumb, she then ***** her thumb in which she ends up eating her hair.
I am very worried about her because I am not sure what the hair maybe doing to her digestive system, she is almost completly bald on the back of her head and she has huge blister and or callius on each one of her thumbs.
If anyone knows anything about this please help and suggestions are welcome.

my 2 year old also pulls her hair out all the time an puts her dummy in her mouth.. i am now looking on internet to see why she may do this

Perhaps some more stimulation for her may be good could she be bored when she does this keep her busy playing take her out to play grounds ,having fun, I have heard of this before so if you look at the related discussions you may get more input from others, I think it would be a good idea to speak to her Doctor regarding her swallowing the hair.
