Anger in a child age 5

My son is 5 years old. He has all the sudden began to throw major fits. These fits involve hitting and biting me his mother. I need to know if this could be a faze or do I need to be worried.

It would be a good idea to tell your Doctor, as it is sudden and he will make sure theres nothing going Physically.How do you punish him, do you spank him and yell,what form does it take,?Check out what triggers the Tantrums what happens prior to the outbursts, has he a younger sibling he could be jealous of , is he at a new preschool, give us more answers .
