Thas a great idea , lots of activities will help his mind and let him take control of his body, you may be exhausted aswell you will have a happy boy, remember dont feed inot any comments he makes about his weight shrug it off, make sure you hav plenty of good food in for his snacks if he is going to be using up that energy he will get hungry, carrot sticks and dip, apples, yoghorts, let him make himelf with your help a healthy Pizza,( fine crust and Tomatoes, a little peperoni and small cheese,) He could have fun making up a salad he would like , take him shopping to choose some nice foods show him the ingredient contents on the back. He will feel better with good positive feedback , dont get into or anyone else talk about his weight.. Good luck you are a good and caring Mom.
