It is possible the stress of school is doing this - or it could be an infection ( which will be easy to find out). Has she been playing super hard the last 3 days and is really exhausted when she goes to bed? That can also do it.
On kindergarten, try and take her to school before it opens. Walk her around it. Play on the playground. Show her the buildings. Have a picnic on the school lunch tables. Do this several times - it should help. And don't expect kids to be turning cartwheels over the prospect of going to school. But you can make it more comforting by making it not a stranger.
It is funny that you mentioned school. She will start kindergarten in 13 days and although we have tried to get her excited about it, she is still very nervous. We took her to let her pick out all her school supplies, new clothes, new shoes, and just everything we could think of to make this time exciting for her but she seriously wants nothing to do with school. If you try and talk to her about it, she says please don't talk about that. Could she be so scared she is stressed and that is causing the bedwetting?
Hi there. Has anything changed at all for her? I have a boy who just turned 7 and when he started the first grade which was his first all day school experience, he wet the bed for a week straight. He'd not wet at night for eons and it is really out of character for him. He was very serious about doing well in school and liked it very much. But it was different and stressful in a way for him. I tried putting him to bed a little earlier and being very supportive and encouraging to him. As I said, it lasted one week and then he hasn't repeated since last Fall.
So, I'm just curious if anything is going on in her life right now.
