Son's Behavior

I'm recently divorced and have a 6 year old son. His father has a new girfriend that talk really bad about me infront of my son. She tells him that i dont love him, or care about him, calls me names such as *****, ****, hor, and tell him i'm crazy and manic. My son is now srarting to have bowl movements in his pants and shows alot of emotional stress. we've been fighting in court for the last year and a half and there trying to put all the blame on me saying it's my fault because i dont see him. But because i live 5 hours away from them i'm only alowed to see him for so many hours a week. My son tell's me that his father and girfriend fight alot and that he's scared to tell anybody whet he really wants to say because he's scared of his dad beating his butt. his dad does of a domestic violence case against him that happened five years ago and i'm scared that it's going on again behind closed doors. is there anything you can tell me that i can do to help my boy stop pooping in his pants and get him to open up and tell somebody what he really wants to say?

My question is how is was it possible for him to gain custody if he had domestic violence case against him? That is defenitely a very bad situation for your son.....what are you in court for - custody of your son? Not really sure what you can do while your son remains in thsi toxic situation.....

Your son needs to talk to a child psychologist. Maybe a Dr. can help kill two birds with one stone, and by that I mean that the Dr. will take notes and if your son says anything about how bad his dad treats him, you can use that against him in court. Plus, the counsel will also do your son some good since he feels he can't talk to anyone about anything because he's in fear. I don't know how this will be handled since your son doesn't live with you, but I think that is the way to go.

Good luck!!
