My 17 month old dauther doesn't want to eat!

My 17 month old dauther doesn't want to eat! why? I know she may be teething but besides milk she only has a couple of bites here and there during the day :( I have started to give her pediasure for every day she doesn't want to eat to try to suply nutricional gaps!

They do like to feed themselves at this age , put her food in front of her and let her get on with it, sometimes too much pressure out of concern has the opposite affect, if they find its getting a lot of attention they will not eat to get that attention. So back off ,put the foods she likes in front of her , and say nothing, no coaxing, no offering her bites. Small fruits, crackers , chicken bites, fish sticks , pasta , beans ,peas, at her age she can be trying most foods.,yogourts, gello,nice cookie for dessert, leave that till she eats the other food .Good Luck

My daughter is exactly the same i went to the doctors and they said that because she isnt losing weight it is not a problem and that she will eat when hungry,they say its because they are trying to learn to feed themselves and that they are beginning to get their own little personilitiy,and they like to make choices even though they are so young.
