My youngest baby had constant eye rolling and we had seizures ruled out. I took her to the pediatrician and he ordered a sleep test--I think it was an EEG (electro encephaly gram?). I can't remember the name, but your doctor would know. Evidently, there is a type of seizure that can cause those types of activity--leg twitching, eye rolling/blinking--that type of thing. Get it checked out. It may end up like our case--a phase. I don't know about the coughing, but I would get a chest xray and a MRI done as well. Also--anxiety can cause coughs--and tension might cause the eye problems--you know--like when you are stressed and your eye starts twitching.
Good luck.
Hi, one of my children had continuous blinking, I think it lasted about three months and then stopped suddenly. We never found out what was causing our daughter to do it, but because it stopped thought it was a phase? Maybe you should take her to the Opticians and speak to them, they could refer you to someone. Good luck!
