You said it yourself, 'so I give in' she knows you will thats the issue, some' junk' is okay sometimes, if you dont buy it she wont get it. Take her shopping and tell her to choose some nice reasonably healthy foods, yoghorts , puddings, pastas, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, at 5 year old she can help you in the kitchen and dont make too big an issue of it.Good Luck there are many posts on this ,scroll down .
