I will do that .. thank you!!
Assuming he's otherwise doing well in life, there is no association between walking in large circles and anything that I know of, especially in the absence of other symptoms. It couldn't hurt to point it out to him and see what he says.
I am meaning that he literally walks around in circles. Like in a large diameter. He does this while awake too. I have seen him myself and his teacher has noted and made her concerns known to me about it. He seems completely unaware when he does it. He just does it.
Sleepwalking is not an uncommon symptom in young children. They usually outgrow it. The main focus needs to be on keeping them safe - so they don't fall down stairs or walk out the door. Also, it is best not to disturb or startle them. When you say he walks in circles, do you mean spinning his body or merely walking in a large diameter?
