Scared

I am a mother who is in need of some real help. I have a 4 yr old daughter who says that she can see "things". I am not a person who believed in ghosts or spirits, but I do now. I need to know what steps I need to take to help her. We have drove past cemetaries and she can tell me of at least one person who is buried there. She will give me a last name and she will tell me that they are nice, and sometimes that they are not nice. She is a very old soul, she just turned 4 and is reading very well. She was talking in complete sentences at the age of 9mo. She is super smart. She has told me that she has had conversations with some "people" and I can watch her do it. It is really scary. I don't like not knowing what she can see. She is scared to walk in our house without anyone with her. This is really starting to take its toll on everyone in our house. She first started talking to "people" at the age of 2. She can tell me all the peoples names in a family picture of all my dead grandparents (who she has never met, or have heard thier names). This is too scary for me. As far as her behavior she is somewhat good. She is in preschool. She only tends to do this with me and my husband, it is like she knows that people would think bad of her. She really is an old soul, who I think has conversations with the spirit world. What should I do?

Pray. Ask God for help and when your daughter is talking with one of these "ghosts" say this- "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus, leave!" Say it with authority and mean it. It works because demons or as some people call them ghosts, tremble at the name of Jesus. You have authority to make this stop so use it. I have seen demons as a kid and it scared the **** out of me. I dont know what your daughter is seeing but they can come in many forms from looking humanlike to hideously ugly and scary. My mom taught me to use Jesus name fo command them to leave me alone, i did and it works. Dont take my word for it, try it. I would find a preacher and talk with him about it but know that you have a secret weapon so use it. Your in prayers (((hugs0))

Hi hun, I guess you could say I and one of my sisters are mediums. She might just be scared of what she sees because you are. as a kid I was terrified But of course i didnt see just family and plain ghost. Children are  talented.try to calm down about it embrace it see what happends. it might fade with age. I curently have a young girl in my home she looks to be no older then sixteen. She dosent bother any body. At one point she did scare my son. so here is what to do. I went and got veggie oil, my family prayed over it. I mad sure i my kids understood that mommy would never let anything hurt thim. I put oil on my hands and while saying the lords prayer i smeared the oil over the the very top of their bedroom doors and on the threshholds. That was the end of it. I am not afraid so my children are not afraid. If she startes to see black shadows or scary ghost take her to church more often and put the oil on all of the thresholds and tops of doors.It sounds silly but a spirit expecialy a bad spirit can not cross God, you just sanctafied your home. It will be OK. more then likly it will fade.

So I did some googling...Most say it actually fairly normal for children to have this ability.  They say when they start getting older and using more of the left side of their brain they stop seeing them.  Every site I saw did mention not to necessairily encourage it just take it as par for the course.  But, since she seems to be getting scared...if you actually believe her look into speaking with another more experienced medium.  Possibly they can teach her how to deal with this.  As it is said by some that actual ghost don't threaten but, can seem scary for a little kid.
