Hi ,i'm 54 female and have systemic sclerosis sine scleroderma. My lungs have been attacked (autoimmune). I have no illusions, I am not doing well. My question is 2 weeks ago I had a LFT done. It was not good.
My fev1 was .actual .87 pred. 2.62 % pred.33 . I decided to look back at a test I had done 4 years ago. This is the part I don't quite get.
The test don't go by actual it goes by LLN. My results then were %24 pred 2.54 LLN 1.98.
I don't have a pulm appt for 3 months so I thought I'd see if anyone knows. From what I see itlooks like my last test was9% better then my first test. But not understanding actual from LLN I am only guessing. Any thoughts? Thanks
I am stage III but have no problem with my voice at all. Curious.
I agree with allmymarbles, I don't see how you can even get out of bed. Best of luck and I hope I do as good as you when I get that low of an fev1, I'm at 49% and my voice is already cutting out.
Are you saying that you are stage four COPD, have an FEV1 that is 19% of predicted and only use oxygen at night? Do you work out of your home? With those stats I do not see how you could go to work every day, and I do not see how you could do without supplemental oxygen during the day.
