and do some research about the environment and allergies ..
If you have been to the doctor, you have been tested for strep, correct? My kids almost always get stomach aches with strep infections (that is when they culture your throat with the swab).
Many viruses will also cause stomach issues such as nausea. On top of that, when you have a virus, you often aren't hungry and then blood sugar drops, the stomach gets irritated, etc. and it can also cause stomach issues. Coughing until one gags is common and once you gag, then throwing up is much easier. You have drainage that can happen when you are sleeping, it goes down to your stomach, nausea again.
Viruses do get better on their own. What to watch for is a secondary infection. This would be if your sinuses get infected and you develop sinusitis, or lungs and you get pnemonia or bronchitis. You feel remarkebly worse when a true infection sets in and often develop a fever. This is when antibiotics come in.
I'd take musinex now to keep all of your 'stuff' moving easily as well as double up on your fluid intake. I'm a big fan of a little tlc complete with chicken noodle soup. Wash your hands frequently and wash up your bedding. Throw away your toothbrush. All of those little things. And it is possible to get a virus on top of a virus as your immune system is already down, so avoid others who are sick. Coughs can linger as long as three weeks or so as the throat gets irritated.
Unless you get a secondary infection, this should run its course and you'll be back up and running. good luck
hahah where I live not love ...lol
