oranges during winter

do oranges have anything to do with increasing your chances of catching a cold or having a sore throat? i've been told not to eat oranges during winter season

as long as its squeezable you can eat it.And in Jail  and prison they put orange peel in their cup ad hot water and drink it. keeps colds away.  also mustard for a tooth ache.It works!

Not at all ! oranges are healthy anytime. Oranges and orange juice helps your immunity

Not that I'm aware of.  In fact, oranges contain vitamin C, which can actually help you fight off a cold.

The only thing I can think of is that if you already have a sore throat, the acidic nature of the orange can definitely make it hurt worse.

I would say if you want an orange, ENJOY!!
