I broke my ankle and went on very long haul flight. Should I get checked for DVT?

Hi, I broke my fibula near my ankle about 7 weeks ago. I had surgery to put plates and screws in. I was cleared to fly on a long haul flight by my surgeon and doctor. I flew for 16 hours the first flight, moving my foot by bending it every so often. I then had a 3 hour stop over and flew again for another 4 hours. I wore my cam boot the entire time and probably did about 8,000 steps during this ordeal (airports), a lot more than my ankle is used to. It's now a day later and my foot which was previously quite swollen from the flights when I first checked, has gone down but is still a little swollen and sore but not excessively considering the ligament hasn't quite healed and all the walking I've done. I am obviously concerned about dvt and wondering what I should look out for? I took an aspirin the day I left and the day later.
