About two weeks ago I started having pains on the left-hand side of my torso also presenting with lumps running vertically down my torso, starting just left of my pec muscle and extending down to my abdomen. At first I thought it was a muscle / tendon issue so went to see my physio but she diagnosed it as Mondor's Disease (thrombophlebitis of the superficial veins of the breast and anterior chest wall).
From what I've been reading, it's normally benign and resolves itself in a couple of months. However, I had my first Covid vaccine jab about 6 weeks ago and suffered with flu-like symptoms, migraines and some abdominal pains for about 2-3 weeks after (still have some abdominal pain now as well). Since Mondor's is basically blood clots I was wondering if the vaccine could be related to it, and if there could be a deeper underlying problem? Most of the research I've read indicates Mondor's is usually benign but in some cases can indicate a more serious underlying condition.
I'm a 46 year old male in (usually) reasonably good health with no real known medical conditions, other than mild asthma but that doesn't usually really bother me, and some occasional back-ache (probably from sitting at a desk all day).
