Baby teeth in adulthood

Hi I'm a 31 year old female who has never lost one of her upper left canine's .
I have a very warn down baby tooth in in place of the adult tooth
and as of a year and a half ago it started to get a cavity and now it's turning dark
and becomes very painful at times .
this new thing is really messing
with my mind .

My father , brother and my father's father all have this
issue .
What are my options ?
if i get this removed is the adult tooth going to fall into place ?
And what options are there for people with no coverage ?

I want to smile like i used to

I had the ex rays and there is an adult tooth
above the baby tooth .......... also my boy friend notices that i have been
grinding my teeth violently while i sleep.
i have tmj and i always have grinded them, can the discomfort be causing it to get worse ?

So if i pull it
will it come down it's self ?

If not how much expensive is the procedure

"I NEED TO USE MY DIMPLES AGAIN"

Basd on the information provided, it appears that you have a prolonged retetion of a primary canine, unknown if there is a permanent canine present.Seeing a dentist is advised.
