Severe headache hours after teeth cleaning

I had my teeth thoroughly cleaned today. The dentist even said she was glad I had came in when I did due to the gums being borderline ANUG. She used what looked like a drill ( was really painful) to clean the teeth all around the gums. I had initially went in due to having pus coming out between the gums and teeth if I pressed on them. Well, she got it all cleaned and gave me an antibiotic as well (hopefully it helps prevent spread of infection that was there before she cleaned, I feel like I should have taken them beforehand) but now like 10 hours later, I have a severe headache, is this likely related to the cleaning today? Or is there any chance that in cleaning the infection got into my blood and maybe went to my head and is now causing a headache? Any ideas, advice or thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
