maybe a professional cleaning will help. it could be beginning stages of gum disease. if its only when you floss its not a digestive issue. have it checked by a dentist but it doesnt sound serious.
Sorry for being unclear. This may sounds nasty but when I am flossing, I touch my plaque and smell it and it stanks! I get that bacteria stinks but it's every night. It wasn't like that before. I use to only floss 1-2 times a week and it never smelled bad. But I started noticing the smell and now I floss every day and the smell just won't go away. I'm worried it may be a digestive problem or acid reflex... Any ideas?
plaque (thank goodness its not plague!) is composed of bacteria and food particles. thats stinky stuff. if you are removing the plaque with brushing and flossing the smell should not remain in your mouth. your message was unclear... does the smell appear as you are using the floss or do you have bad breath after? if bad breath remains after cleaning you should see a dentist.
