I just had a root canal redo. It was fine for a few days until my temporary came off. I’m still waiting for the permanent crown b/c I missed the appointment and my main dentist went on vacation. I had a new temp put on but it didn’t fix my symptoms. I have insomnia, anxiety, poor focus, zero energy, stomachache, and vertigo.. I’m not sure what to do; Except wait for her to return and hope she fixes it. She’s very very good. She’s the head dentist. If not, then I’m going to have it pulled. There’s a movie about this problem we are all having. It’s on Netflix and it’s called “Root Cause”. Even though dentists don’t see how this is relayed, at least the internet keeps us from thinking we are the only ones in hell from a root canal. .
I am having severe vertigo too, along with low blood pressure & mines always normal. And weird joint pains!!! A file is broke off in my tooth as well. Just did a lot of reading on root canals. Tooths been in pain too for over a month. I think after all my reading I will have the tooth pulled!
Hi how are you feeling after an year
I also have vertigo after two root canals, everything I eat tastes the same or bad, I have been sick two weeks now, I was rushed by ambulance to the ER from loss of fluids, (too much vomiting and diarrhea). I received meds for Vertigo, nausea and was provided with 3 IV's of fluids. The vomiting and diarrhea are now gone but my tooth still hurts even after seeing another dentist, my stomach is always feel with air and upset and I still have Vertigo, The day before yesterday, I went back to an Instacare, I have fluid and one crystal behind my right ear, I was given more Vertigo medicine (which makes me sleep all day) and nausea medicine, recommended to go to a ear, nose and throat doctor. My tooth still hurts with the new crown on it, I too have never had Vertigo before, all food tastes bad to me and even though the room is not spinning, I am not able to walk or keep my balance well. I was also prescribed flownaise to clear up my sinuses. I want to be normal again without the tooth pain, Vertigo and stomach pain, plus taste food that I have always enjoyed. I am seeking any advice or help to cure this problem. I have never felt this bad or sick in all of my life and I am 42 years old. I feel when I put pressure on the two teeth I received my root canals on that fluid seeps underneath out to my gums, I am not positive, nothing smells or tastes good. I was wondering if someone might think the dentists have received new temporary tooth repair mixings, crowns I may be getting sick from, The great thing of it all is even if I just wanted them to pull out my teeth they are saying I am out of dental insurance money for the year. I just want to be better. I cant focus or see well from the vertigo and am actually afraid.
Dental treatment is definitely one of them. I am suffering from Vertigo
since I met the Dentist before 5 months.
There are various causes of vertigo, dental treatment is probaly not one of them. Consultation with ENT and neurologist is advised.
