I had several fillings done yesterday, some new, some replacements. I had more severe soreness than after previous fillings so that was a bit concerning at first... but I kept in mind that I had considerable work done on the left side (3 fillings, 2 on the bottom and one rather deep). However I did manage a good nights sleep and woke with no pain...
But I am experiencing very severe shooting pains when eating on that side (it sort of fells like the fillings not there for a second and I'm chomping down on exposed sore teeth?) coupled with generally annoying soreness throughout the day.
I am really concered because A) I am going on a very long holiday of a lifetime in just a few days, 2) I am due for another filling replacement on the other side before I go and am worried I won't have a side left to chew on!
I would really appreciate a best case / worst case senario here so I can do my best to avoid pain while on holiday.
Thanks.
