I have strange painless lesions that pop up anywhere from one to three times a year for no apparent reason often times with canker sores on my toungue and cheeks preceding them. They are red and slightly raised to begin with and then eventually turn whitish, they are painless but are sensitive to acidic foods. I have seen five doctors, one diagnosis was Staph, another trench mouth, Gingovastomistis, another Musloscum Cantagiousum, and I was told by a oral surgeon he had no idea what it was and then he charged me $90 for his time... I'm sick of not getting anywhere with this. They often times itch or feel almost like someone is rubbing sandpaper on my palate. I'm a 23yr old relatively healthy female practicing good oral hygiene, allergic to latex, milk, codeine and cinnamon, currently breastfeeding, diagnosed with Raynaud's syndrome, taking 50mg Zoloft and no other supplements or medications. Please help, I'm so sick of not being able to kiss my kids because I'm not sure if it's contagious or not. Thank you.
