feel numb and disconnected from body and mind and nothing is familiar to me anymore, i'm scared please tell me what this is asap. plus i feel something else like someone else is controlling my body, like a robot feeling.

ive had this feeling it does sound like depersonalisation i also felt i couldnt remember what i said a minute ago and felt as if i was waiting for instructions its a horrid feeling but please get checked out as mine heralded another bout of depression good luck take care

You need to get to a doctor asap. I know some people get this feeling when they are manic. Don't wait around thinking it will just go away.

This might sound like a strange question, but do you drinks anything with aspartame (Nutrasweet) in it?

It might be Depersonalization disorder (DPD) it is often linked with anxiety and anxiety is often linked with depression.

I would try counseling with a qualified psychologist.
