Consequences of Lithium lower than standard range?

I started taking a low dose of lithium, 450mg every other day, to supplement Wellbutrin which didn't seem to be working well. After one month I had a blood test and my lithium level is  <0.1 mmol/L (standard range,  0.6 - 1.2 mmol/L.  I am now wondering how low it was before I started taking it, and if that is causing my major depression disorder.

Are you saying you're taking the lithium mineral sold in health foods stores, or a prescription lithium?  If you're taking an antidepressant, you don't really want to be playing around with the supplement, if that's what you're doing.  That's for if you're trying to treat your problem without medication.  And it's used generally for mood disorders, not for depression.  I'd talk to my psychiatrist and see if he approves of this before continuing.
