Depression and Memory Problems
Hi,
My husband is on 225mg of effexor but is continuing to have
problems with memory and concentration. Is there another
med out there that works better for these symptons?

Your husband should discuss these symptoms with his doctor. Meds can take some time before an improvement in symptoms is noticed too.
I think talking to a psychotherapist about the underlying issues is helpful.
Sometimes anxiety over the problem makes the problem worse. Relaxation exercises and other strategies to relieve the depression could be helpful.

Not sure if there is anything he can take for the memory outside of maybe some gingko biloba, but he should check with his doctor first before taking anything with his meds.
Something that may help is to exercise the brain. Reading, crossword puzzles, and some physical exercise each day may help as well.
