It can be done. I went through it. It took weeks and a few panic attacks but I got off of it. Just try to be patient. You can do it
It depends entirely on the individual. However, from the best protocols I've seen in books and articles by the few psychiatrists who have bothered to tackle this issue the taper off should be as slowly as you need it to be -- for some, it will take 6 weeks (can't imagine trying to do it safely and comfortably in a shorter amount of time just to be on the safe side), for others a year. It just depends on how hard a time your brain has adapting back to operating normally. Don't rush it, give it the time it needs.
How many mgs are you on? Are you currently tapering? And how long have you been on it?
