Did I mention I have an extra belly button from where my Akita has jumped on me to wake me up when she wants to go out? lol Cats and dogs are good therapy. And - yes - they all want to be the "boss". But that position is reserved for our 23 yr old cat, Pond Scum (his real name and his real age).
I really do hope you are some better.

Thanks for your comments. I have 5 dogs and 6 cats and they do help me a lot. Doggies and I to the mostly vacated Air Force base for our walks. This morning was another walk. Joy the teeniest is who we followed and Onslo the largest is who called it to an end and time to go home. Course we all obey
Sincerely
Louise
When it comes to forcing yourself to do something, sometimes you just have to do what YOU want. Sleep when you want to - IMHO it's not going to hurt anything. Sounds like you're doing the best you can. Healing is a process. You didn't develop your depression in a day and it's going to take more than a day - even with meds - to heal. Be gentle with yourself. Somewhere in your being you know how to find the healing path. If someone from this Forum wrote to you about feeling like they were on an emotional roller coaster, I think you would tell them the same thing - be gentle with yourself while you try to deal with your depression and sleep disorders.
Michael, truthfully I just need to hear encouraging words now and then. I don't diagnose myself but may work at getting medication timing correct for me. Like instead of taking 300mgs Wellbutrin at night and 150mgs in the morning, I take 150mgs 3X daily, breakfast, lunch and dinner. And this formular is working; but like you say bad days are part of living.
You're right at guessing that I'm bipolar, depressed, and sleep disorder, not sure about the anxiety.
Again thanks
Louise
Namaste,
In your previous posts you mentioned a number of medications you take, plus various supplements.
I don't know what your diagnosis is, however, based upon your medication cocktail, I would assume you are bipolar and suffer from generalized anxiety.
You're not going to find a miracle cure here, although you will find a lot of support, understanding and information.
Changes in your physiology mean that it may take quite some time and a variety of medication cocktails to find the best one for you. You may need to augment that with some form of therapy.
I've suffered for years with various disorders including bipolar disorder and GAD and it wasn't until recently that I found a combination of medications which keep me somewhat stable.
I still have bad days and always will. That's part of life. If you've ever read the book, "The Road Less Traveled", you should remember the opening words, "Life is difficult".
Although difficult, live each day the best you can maintaining a positive mental attitude(PMA), work with your healthcare team and utilize whatever support network(s) you may have.
Take good care of yourself first, by finding out who you really are and what you really need versus what you want. Enjoy the life you have, despite the aches and pains we all suffer.
And finally, do not try to diagnose or treat yourself. This can be dangerous. And, make sure your halthcare provider is aware of any herbal supplements you are taking because they can have negative interactions with prescribed medications.
