i also tried cymbalta for seven weeks and have to quit taking it. the side effects never went away, it was like i was on speed 24/7, and was so sick. my anxiety level was sky high also. as far as quiting xanax, i would do it very slowly. just stopping it will probably be really hard. i've quit it twice before too quickly and it was awful. taper off slowly. your dr. should know that and set up a plan for you to do this. i don't know how much your taking but i was taking .50 three times a day, it took me weeks to get off of it. as far as the cymbalta, it raised my blood pressure, so it could be the other two meds causing that problem. all people respond to drugs differently so it could be the combo of all three of them. i hope everything works out alright for you. remar
I'm not a big fan of Cymbalta either. I tried it for 3 months and it just didn't work for me.
I have found meds like Effexor, Zoloft, and Lexapro to be much more effective. In fact I see a lot of posts from people also saying that Cymbalta was a bad experience for them too. Much more so than any other AD medication.
I really question how effective Cymbalta really is.
If anyone out there has had a good experience with Cymbalta please chime in. I have yet to hear any praises about it. I'm sure it must be working for some people.
my doctor put me on cymbalta.. i used it 3 times.... never again...
i was dizzy,confused,no energy..etc.
i told my doctor .he put me on celexa...well guess what ..the same symptoms..
i dont know what to do anymore..i first started on zoloft..same thing.
im so tired of the doctors..they all have the same attitude..it fact im
sick of all the commercials telling us .its a cure all !!
i guess they are ok for some people,,but to many side effects for me.
wishing you the best.

If you aren't feeling better on your meds, and you've given them a decent amount of time to become effective, talk to your doctor about the side effects.
