i was on 150mg in am and 150mg in pm....after about 4 mths it stopped working..went to md in a depressed state again, and he upped it to 300mg in am and 150mg in pm....well!!! i was sooooo high i almost got hit by a car and fell down the stairs like my legs were weak....i i was walking into everything and stumbling,...i would sweat profusely and i got extremely aggitated in like seconds sometimes at nothing...i do not do drugs at all...but for 4 days i was as high as a kite...i could not handle it anymore.....i could not even go to work, i could not function at all...so my md told me to just go back to my regular dose i was used to for a week ...it was hard coming down like i was withdrawing or something. but anyway i did it and then my md put me on 200mg in am and 200mg in pm and voila problem solved....
i tryed to take my self off wellbutrin a couple mounths ago because i thought it was makeing me fat....... and i noticed a big diference in me i was feeling it was horriable so i got right back on it..

I really think it is just the fact that we have something to look forward to....that makes us hopeful. A GOOD THING! We are not alone, and we can do this. YES WE CAN.....
Hi, I went from 150mg for one week to 300mg for almost 2 weeks now. I really just started to feel good. I worked out in my yard yesterday and didn't want to stop. This is something I have always loved doing but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I actually couldn't even be out there because it just brought back memories of when I was so happy. I'm just hoping it is the begining of a good thing. I'm just going to hold tight and see how it goes. I don't want to talk too soon but so far so good. The first couple of weeks I had a lot of anxiety, naseau and the shakes. All gone now. Good luck!
Wish I could give you more info on Welbutrin. I do know that it is primarily a Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitor. Perhaps it is this Inhibition of Dopamine reuptake that is having this effect for you.
I did try Welbutrin many years ago as an add on antidepressant, unfortunatly (for me) it had no effect and did not help even after months taking it at high dosages.
That's good that it is working for you, although you want to be careful that you don't get manic on it if it is having that profound effect for you.
