i think citapram does help

hi im 18 and the last cuple of months i have been depressed and anxiety with ocd and i thought i would never get better. i thoght awful thoughts but when i started on citalpram,at the start it was awful actually felt worse and the thoughts wer worse but now after 2 weeks im starting to get alot better and still hav alot of thoughts but their not as serve and i feel i can control them now. i do think people should give them a chance if any1 else has had good stories with them plz let mw knw fanks.

ive been taking citapram since 2005 and have had a break from them once.
I only started to feel better after 4-6 months,,the drug does work,but it does take a while to build up the momentum.
The key to its success is that it give you a crutch to lean on to help you deal with the real issues that are really bothering you etc.
their is strong evidence of a pluscibo spelling (sorry) effect,but thats a good thing as it is a mental help as well,but it does work.

i have started citopram and diazepan for social anxiety. when will they start too work i feel really bad, dont know what too do, used to use alcohol but that cant be the answer. any ideas anyone? please.

Glad to hear that some1 else has benfited from the use of Ciprlex. I have aslo been on them for nearly two weeks and although my symtoms of social anx and negative thoughts like youself became worse in the start, I can grdually feel myself getting better day by day. I have been on them couple of times before and thank God have always had good results as not all anti depressants work for me and trust me I have tried a few in my time! I am usually reluctant to start the again as the first two weeks can be really difficult, but once you are passed that hurdle, it should be all uphill for you hello89! Let me know how it goes
