Will taking two 5mg pills of Lexapro have the same effect as taking a 10mg pill?

My pharmacy accidentally filled my 5mg of Lexapro instead of my new 10mg pills of Lexapro.
I just want to make sure it has the same effect until I'm able to get my 10mg pills.
Its important i have the right dosage of this pill everyday.
Thank you for your responses! Just need some reassurance.

Yes.  Some psychiatrists have patients split their doses anyway, as mine does with me, because it reduces sedation and other side effects.  I've been dividing my doses for years.  It's the same.  On the other hand, it's more expensive, so you might for financial reasons want to contact the pharmacy and have them correct their mistake.  I cut pills in half, I don't take two lower dose pills, and doing it that way costs a bit more.  But other than that, same dose.
