Hey I feel the same way I always feel as though someone can read my mind or there are cameras in my rooms and that everyone is out to get me idk why
I agree, if this has been going on for 6 months it could be that you are feeling as though people are judging you because of your illness? it is difficult when you are young, but you do grow with illness and learn better ways of coping.. I am 31 and BiPolar.
If this is not about your illness and there is more to it, you should make an appointment fairly quickly, this could be a warning sign of relapse, you sound pretty low aswell, is there anything else going on?
My illness has changed a lot over the years, I had lots of issues with hallucinations and paranoid thoughts in my early 20's but I don't suffer with them as much now..
Good luck!

hi my names becky im 19 and i too have bipolar disorder. as far as know paranoia is a very common symptom of bipolar. im going through the same thing well for best part of my life ive been paranoid about people talking about me or disliking me but over the years its increased a lot. so if its any comfort it is normal (well as close to) for that kinda thinking. the best only real thing you can do is trust your friends and your family as those are the only people that really matter right?! trust that they care for you and would pretty much do anything for you, you need to allow yourself to trust them and hopefully in time the paranoia will simply disappear. as its more recent for you it could just be a case mood change i know that mania can have paranoia. its properly best to talk to a family member or your best friend or doctor if your really worried. i know its sounds simple but try not to act on your paranoia easier said than done be strong and wish u all the best this site is good ive gotten some good advise.
The feeling you are feeling are normal with your diagnosis. Being afraid of being judged can cause you to feel this way. Stigma is a major thing to deal with. I would not worry to much at this point it is more being self conscious, than the disorder, remember that only those that you let know about your about you diagnosis know about it. Others that you feel are judging you are only because you are self conscious about your diagnosis. Hope this helps
