depression,anxiety and poor memory

I'm 24 years old and studying in bba. I've been suffering from depression, frustration, sleep problem, poor concentration, delayed decission, negetive thought, hopelessness, avoid friends, fear about sex and serious memory problems. Poor memory hamper my daily life. I cant remember what i talked, what i did, what i ate in the morning. Sometimes i forget friends name or other normal things. I cant describe what happened infront of me or cant say what other say to me. I ask same question repeatly for same information.important events, dates, places, childhood memory all i forgot. Sometimes i think i would made suicide if the problems dont solved. I visit a psychiatric and taking medicine regularly.
Please suggest me what is my problem, what can i do in addition to medication?

Ask your doctor about Ritaln or Concerta for memory and attention problems.  These symptoms can be side effects of depression.  There is also Vyvanse and Focalin.  If one does not work, try another.  They will help with your energy.  The meds are out of your system that day; do not linger for weeks.

sorry that you feel so down, Maybe you should try to do puzzzles something that will train your mind to remember certain things and if your forgetting events put it on a calendar in red letters so you will remember important things...sometimes a doctor cant fix everything..you have to contribute too..dont think about hurting yourself...things will get better..this is just a little dent in your life right now...it can be fixed...just find a puzzle...it helps!!!

Ask your psychiatrist about seeing a psychologist who can give you some talking therapy.  They may be able to teach you some techniques to help improve your memory, and can give you some general coping strategies for everyday problems.  Also, how many drugs have they tried you on?  Because this one might not be working.  My psychiatrist has been tinkering away with my drugs for over a year now and it's still not quite right.  I've tried six, in several combinations.
