1 bump on head of penis?

Awhile back I had unprotected sex with a couple different girls. Like most people today. The contacts were short cause I didn't feel right about having intercourse without a condom. Like stopping after 2 min each.  Even though both claimed to be clean I couldn't help but wonder if they did or didn't have anything. Ever since the encounters I have been almost debilitatingly nervous about what I could have gotten. It's really becoming ridiculous as to how much it is affecting me.

The encounters I had were about 8 months and 7 months ago. Ever since them I have been examining my penis all of the time. I'm really a reck about it. I started doing it so much I actually started to chafe. Then about 5 months ago I started to see a slightly raised area on the very tip of my penis. Right to the right of wear I pee. The area is about 2 centimeters across and oval in shape. it is more catered to the underside of my penis as well. The area inside the abrasion is slightly discolored in florescent light, but not really noticeable under normal light. Only a crazy person like me would notice it. Also the area inside the bump (if you can call it that) looks just slightly more rigid then the rest of the head of my penis. When I get erect though the area cannot be seen. Also if I stop getting aroused altogether it seems to become less noticeable but doesn't go away all together. It's almost as if the more I use my penis the more inflamed it gets.

I have gone to two different doctors now, and the second doctor twice. The first doctor wasn't a dermatologist, and he didn't know what it was. After I talked him into it he proscribed genital wart cream to me to try just in case it was. I used as described and nothing happened. The area didn't go away, or get phased by the cream at all. He said that if it didn't work then it probably wasn't, and to not worry about it. But I couldn't let it go, so I then went to a dermatologist. He looked and said it was probably nothing. Not until i pointed it out did he even really acknowledge that it was there. But since I am freaking out about it I went back to him about a month later and he still didn't think that it was anything. He said that the only real way to see if it was a wart was to take a tissue sample and get it examined. But that would just leave a bigger scar their for me to worry about. He also said that even with the sample it would more than likely turn out to be nothing.

I think my biggest problem is that no one is letting me know what it could be. Neither of the doctors seemed too concerned with the area. But with the amount of checking I've done, I mean it really could be a scar by now. Also after using a wart cream for about a month I doubt it is a wart. Especially since two different doctors didn't seam to worry about it.

I have now looked online, a bunch, at genital wart pictures and it really doesn't look anything like the images I've seen. What I have is more like a slightly darker piece of skin that looks like I've rubbed the head of my penis too long and it's slightly inflamed. But it doesn't go away. It does however variate on how noticeable it is. The dermatologist said that I also have folding in the underneath part of wear I pee which is also slightly discolored at the same color.

So I guess after all this I am really asking what are the things that it could be. With all of the things I've gone through I really doubt that it is a genital wart, but I'm the type of person that would really hate to give someone something. So any ideas on what it could be and any over the counter treatments i could try to reduce the visibility of it for me. No one else would even notice it.  Thanks

so I went to another dermatologist today. He said that he didn't think it was anything. It's the 3rd doctor to say it. He didn't give a reason for what happened, but he said that it wasn't something that I needed to worry about. As for the other bumps on my head he didn't know what they were. It ***** cause when I'm hard they are very noticeable. But I guess they aren't anything to worry about. They look a lot like pearly penile papules, but I guess they aren't. I really wish there was something I could take to help get rid of them but I guess there isn't.

I have been to two different doctors, and the second was a dermatologist. I went to him twice over the course of 2 months. Both times he looked at it like it was nothing. He even said that the only way to really know was to get a skin sample, and it would more than likely be nothing. And even then he didn't bring up the skin sample. I told him I was freaking, and that's what he said. To me though it has been overwhelming.

I looked at a lot of images on the dermatitis skin, and it looks like it is reddish in color. What i have isn't reddish at all. It really just looks like rougher skin that is slightly darker in color then my normal color. To imagine it would be like someone took a scrub brush to the head of a penis, and the scar that formed is what I got. A lot like a scar would look. Also I am a very clean person. I take 1 to 2 showers a day. If it was due to being dirty it would have gone away by now. I mean it isn't really even that noticeable until I rotate my penis 180 and look at it from the bottom.

I also have what I expect are pearly penile papules on the head of my penis. Even on them I've freaked out cause I only hear they appear around the head of a penis, but mine seem to be appearing on the top of the head of my penis. Around the ridge is fine.  Again nothing like a wart. Tiny small about 2 millimeters across. One of them is a little tender sometimes. But again I check all the time. When I get erect though they can still be seen.

The reason I have been freaking out is cause up until about 8 months ago I had nothing on my penis at all. A very smooth head with no abrasions and no bumps. Now after worrying more then ever I have a scar-like abrasion on the very tip and about 4 tiny tiny bumps on the top of the head. Its a lot to come in a relatively small amount of time.

So one thing is I should try using corticosteroid cream on the abrasion. What could I use to make the penile papules get less noticeable? I mean going to 3 doctors 4 times almost seems like I am wanting it to be something it's not. I really just want the abrasions to get less noticeable. I mean if 2 different doctors don't think to worry it can't be that bad. But I have to do something about the stress.

What's ridiculous is that Ill probably go to another doctor and get checked soon. I'm sure they will say the same thing. It's more then likely nothing and not to worry. But to me how can so much happen to your penis in such a short time? I know large amounts of stress can do pretty much anything but I just want to be sure.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Since the rash is non itchy, not painful and present for such a long time, it can be due to dermatitis skin or due to friction rub of the penis with the undergarments. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
