Always Red Cheeks?

Hello, I am a 20 year old male, and I always seem to have red cheeks. It's been like that all my life, and is this normal? I frequently flush from heat or exertion and they become bright red for a few minutes. I'm not too bothered by the flushing, I'm mainly fixated on their natural rosiness.

It's embarrassing to be talking to people and having them point out how I red my cheeks are, only having to tell them that's how they are. And some people even assume I'm blushing around them.

Hello and welcome to the forum!  Thanks for posting. I'm wondering if you have ever talked to your doctor or a dermatologist about this? I'm understanding that the chronic nature of your rosy complexion is what you are wondering about rather than flushing that naturally occurs? There are things that can cause this. Rosacea is one. This can be treated. It does flare but can be chronic in nature. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/12174-rosacea Blood vessels in the cheeks can be inflamed causing the rosiness.

This article has various thoughts on rosiness. https://www.healthline.com/health/skin-disorders/rosy-cheeks

I think having an evaluation by a dermatologist would be wise. Are you fair skinned so your rosiness is pronounced? Remember, many like this look!  They pay for products to create through make up. :>)
