slight red bump on genital

There is a slight red bump on the base of the head of my penis. I think it is a chigger because I had another chigger bite on my sack. The one on my sac has gone away however this one is taking much longer to fade. It has been roughly three weeks. Can anyone tell me what it is if not a chigger bite? I do not have any painful urination and it does not itch or hurt.

I have a red bump not really big on the base of the penis and I have little bumps on the sides of my tip. What is it?

Hello,
Clogging or pores or a cyst formation can cause such bumps. Since it is not itchy so chances of chiggers is less. You can take non-sedating antihistamines such as Cetirizine or Loratadine(Claritin) and apply calamine lotion.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello,
If it is itchy then it can be due to chiggers otherwise it can be due to folliculitis skin as well. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the bump. Also wear cotton clothes and use a mild soap like Dove. If the symptoms persist then please get it examined from a dermatologist.
