orange spots on chest

So im a girl and im 13 years old. About a month ago i noticed a couple of spots on my chest and breast area, they are about half a centimeter in diameter and they are a kind of slightly orangey/ brown colour, well sort of skin colour but its a darker tone than mine. I have had the flu recently and i have just noticed that there are now more than 20 of these strange spots!! They're slightly (very, very so slightly) raised off of my skin and so i can feel them a bit when i brush my hand over them, they are quite noticeable dispite the fact they are much of a bold colour. The dont inch or hurt, and they are never sore. My skin is generally prone to getting moles anyway and my mum has loads of moles and stuff like that. I hate going to the doctors but i will if necessary. Please, please someone tell me what they are because im really worried about them. (i have only noticed them on my chest, no where else)

I have the same thing! I’m 14 and I have just told my mum about it after having it for 6 months or so. I left it this long because I thought it might just o away. My mum is booking me a doctors appointment so I will reply with how it goes and what my diagnosis is!

Hey, I don't know if you'll get this or not but it's 2018 and I have the same problem. I'm 15 and I rather not go to the doctor for somebody to look at my chest. Y'know what I mean? Anyway if you get a notification for this could you tell me what ended up happening...

So sorry you are seeing the same issue as the OP- I'm sure that is scary and I know how uncomfortable it can be to think of getting to the doctor for an exam.  I do want to encourage you to talk to your parents about what you are seeing and also, it's ok to be nervous about the doctor- but it's also important to go sometimes.  I was always more comfortable with a female doctor, and you can make sure you see a woman if that is the case for you too.
In the end I didn’t go to the doctors- I had some tea tree oil lurking in the bathroom cupboard so I looked up the properties of it. Turns out it is anti fungal and I think the problem we are all having is tinea versicolor- a type of skin fungus that appears when hormones are imbalanced and stuff like that- which explains why us teens have it! So I would recommend getting some 100% pure tea tree oil and putting a few drops onto a cotton pad and apply it to the affected area once or even twice a day. Hope this helps xx
