Can you get a Plantar Wart on your hand? Also, can they spread to genital area?

I recently was giving my boyfriend a foot massage when I noticed that he had the tiniest little wart on his heel. (He has plantar warts every now and again). I washed my hands right after noticing the wart, but I’m a little concerned. Could his plantar wart possibly spread to my hand?   And if I did happen to get a wart on my hand from this, would I need to worry about spreading that wart to other areas of my body, such as the genitals or mouth? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If it's a plantar wart, it's not highly contagious- but you are more likely to pick it up on your foot walking around barefoot (in  a place like a locker room), then you are on your hands from giving a foot massage.

I don't think you have much to worry about.  :)
