Crawling feeling

I have been feeling my head/hair crawling. Initially I was concerned it was lice-- checked but found nothing. Still I treated myself and my house as though it were lice. Nothing in my 2 year olds hair or my husband's hair. They are not feeling itchy. After the first treatment I spent the next seven days wrapping my hair up in olive oil for an hour and combing through it with a lice comb for 1hr-2hrs. Treated myself again after the 7 days, but never found anything. Though the crawling sensation remains. Scalp isn't red or irritated looking. No new meds. No allergies. What could be going on ?
