Dark bald spot on my face

I had a dime-sized white spot uner my jaw. Now a number of dime sized black bald spot have appeared along the jaw. They don't itch or pain but I don't like these dark bald spots in the middle of my beard. I should mention that I have vitiligo and alopecia areata. I am also a celiac. Would greatly appreciate any advice.

Finally I did see a dermatologist. Diagnosis: Linear Lichen Planus. I am informed that topical steroids might help. Better option is not to do anything. Do you concur with the treatment Dr Kaur? I would welcome your comments.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This white spot can be due to vitiligo since you have a history of vitiligo but this bald spot can be due to alopecia aereta or ringworm. It is contagious and can spread direct contact with someone who has the condition, or if you touch contaminated items such as combs, hats, clothing, or similar surfaces. Diagnosis is by clinical examination of the scalp as well as a skin lesion biopsy with microscopic examination. Anti-fungal medications, taken by mouth, are used to treat the infection.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
