Red dots on fingertips

My daughter was swimming in the pool and after we got out, she looked like she had pricked her index finger and there was a red dot that looked like it was an open puncture wound.  She said she hadn't touched anything..  Soon after the finger next to that one had a small red dot on it, and now (a day later) all of her fingers, but not thumbs, have tiny red dots on the tips of them.  Can you explain what this may be, or is this something that I should take her to see a doctor for immediately?

Though it may turn out to be nothing best to take her to a doctor to get a blood test to rule out a bleeding or clotting problem.
